PLUS A & B Extensions are the key to the REACH-iT Pole Design - giving the best value when investing in a Water Fed Pole.
Using the 80:20 RULE, we understand that you should focus your attention on solutions that increase your efficiency in the areas that you spend 80% of your time - namely Ground to 2 stories for RESIDENTIAL Window Cleaners, and Ground to 3 or 4 stories for Window Cleaners servicing COMMERCIAL Window Cleaning Customers.
When choosing your MASTER Water Fed Pole, choose one designed for 80% of the glass you clean, and then use extensions to reach the higher, less frequent windows.
Remember, you don't need to buy what you don't need today - if you own a WARRIOR, you can reach 65 FEET at anytime in the future.

TACTICAL PLUS SPECIFICATIONS:
PLUS A and PLUS B are made from an equal or higher modulus carbonfiber than the TACTICAL Pole, and are fitted in the middle of the pole - adding core rigidity where it is needed to the TACTICAL Pole as you extend it higher.
Each PLUS Extension adds 8ft 4" EXTENDED LENGTH to your TACTICAL. PLUS extensions are 'inverted 2-part telescopic poles' which means you fit them into the Master Pole 'upside down'.
PLUS A fits the TACTICAL between sections 1 and 2. PLUS A is a 2/1 extension.
PLUS B fits the TACTICAL between sections 4 and 5. PLUS B is a 5/4 extension.
They are made from HIGH MODULUS CARBONFIBER, the same as the top 60% of TACTICAL.
We have discontinued our PLUS C (formerly 8/7 XT extensions) pole extensions because they add a disproportionate weight to the base of the TACTICAL Pole (twice the weight of PLUS A) and load the pole to flex more at the top when it is extended to extreme heights.
In place of PLUS C, we have released SHOCKSTOP , our Insulator Handle made from Kevlar, and weighing less than 1lb.
HOW TO USE PLUS A and PLUS B for TACTICAL:
Remember, as PROFESSIONAL Window Cleaners, we know the maximum height we will be extending the pole to, so it is easy to plan which extensions you will need on any one job.
TO FIT PLUS A:
1 Remove section 1 from TACTICAL
2 Pull the yellow handle markings on the lower 'inner' section of PLUS A to expose 6-8" of pole - this sets the 'overlap' that supports the rigidity of your pole at extreme heights. The greater the overlap, the greater the pole rigidity. Close and adjust the clamp.
3 Open the 'top' clamp of PLUS A. insert section 1 from TACTICAL until you feel it stop. This means you have the same overlap as the amount of pole showing at the bottom of PLUS A. Close and adjust the clamp.
4 Raise the pole up, open the lower clamp, and pull the balance of the section 1 out of the PLUS A.
5 To connect TACTICAL, remove sections 4,3,2 from the TACTICAL Master Pole.
6 Open the clamp of section 2, and insert section 1 of the PLUS A into the clamp with a 6-8" overlap.
7 Raise sections 2, 3 and 4 of the TACTICAL - the total pole is now around 25 FEET actual length.
TO FIT PLUS B:
1 Pull the yellow handle markings on the lower 'inner' section of PLUS B to expose 6-8" of pole. Close and adjust the clamp.
3 Open the 'top' clamp of PLUS B. insert section 4 from TACTICAL (as above) until you feel it stop. This means you have the same overlap as the amount of pole showing at the bottom of PLUS B. Close and adjust the clamp.
4 Raise the pole up, open the lower clamp, and pull the balance of the section 4 out of the PLUS B.
TO FIT A SECOND PLUS B:
1 Pull the yellow handle markings on the lower 'inner' section of the next PLUS B to expose 6-8" of pole. Close and adjust the clamp.
3 Open the 'top' clamp of the second PLUS B. Insert section 4 from the first PLUS B until you feel it stop. This means you have the same overlap as the amount of pole showing at the bottom of PLUS B. Close and adjust the clamp.
4 Raise the pole up, open the lower clamp, and pull the balance of the section 4 out of the second PLUS B.
5 Add sections 7, 6, 5 of TACTICAL to the base of the second PLUS B by opening the clamp of section 5, and sliding the section 4 from the second PLUS B until there is 6-8" overlap. Close and adjust the clamp.
6 Extend sections 5, 6, and 7 of TACTICAL to make a pole that is 50 FEET actual length (55ft reach).
HOW TO USE PLUS A and PLUS B for WARRIOR:
Remember, as PROFESSIONAL Window Cleaners, we know the maximum height we will be extending the pole to, so it is easy to plan which extensions you will need on any one job.
TO FIT PLUS A:
1 Remove section 3 from WARRIOR
2 Pull the yellow handle markings on the lower 'inner' section of PLUS A to expose 6-8" of pole - this sets the 'overlap' that supports the rigidity of your pole at extreme heights. The greater the overlap, the greater the pole rigidity. Close and adjust the clamp.
3 Open the 'top' clamp of PLUS A. insert section 3 from WARRIOR until you feel it stop. This means you have the same overlap as the amount of pole showing at the bottom of PLUS A. Close and adjust the clamp.
4 Raise the pole up, open the lower clamp, and pull the balance of the section 3 out of the PLUS A.
5 To connect WARRIOR, remove sections 5,4 from the WARRIOR Master Pole.
6 Open the clamp of section 2, and insert section 3 of the PLUS A into the clamp with a 6-8" overlap.
7 Raise sections 4,5 of the WARRIOR - the total pole is now around 27 FEET actual length.
TO FIT PLUS B:
1 Pull the yellow handle markings on the lower 'inner' section of PLUS B to expose 6-8" of pole. Close and adjust the clamp.
3 Open the 'top' clamp of PLUS B. insert section 3 from WARRIOR (as above) until you feel it stop. This means you have the same overlap as the amount of pole showing at the bottom of PLUS B. Close and adjust the clamp.
4 Raise the pole up, open the lower clamp, and pull the balance of the section 5 out of the base section of PLUS B.
TO FIT A SECOND PLUS B:
1 Pull the yellow handle markings on the lower 'inner' section of the next PLUS B to expose 6-8" of pole. Close and adjust the clamp.
3 Open the 'top' clamp of the second PLUS B. Insert section 5 from the first PLUS B until you feel it stop. This means you have the same overlap as the amount of pole showing at the bottom of PLUS B. Close and adjust the clamp.
4 Raise the pole up, open the lower clamp, and pull the balance of the section 5 out of the base of the second PLUS B.
5 Add sections 7,6 of WARRIOR to the base of the second PLUS B by opening the clamp of section 6, and sliding the section 5 from the second PLUS B until there is 6-8" overlap. Close and adjust the clamp.
6 Extend sections 6 and 7 of WARRIOR to make a pole that is over 65ft FEET actual length.
To give greater rigidity to WARRIOR at this extreme length, increase the overlap from 6-8" to 12" - each increase in overlap changes the behaviour of the pole at extreme extension. A little time calculating the actual length you need, compared to the actual length you have, can make a big difference to the total control you will have at extreme height, and your subsequent efficiency.
